Walking through IKEA always sparks my imagination. Every time I go, I can picture a dozen different versions of my kids’ room coming to life. IKEA just has that effect. From the cutest kids’ themes to Montessori-inspired toys, it is the ultimate playground for parents who love to decorate and organize.
My Favorite IKEA Baby Finds
One of my favorite finds is the SNIGLAR changing table paired with the ÖNSKLIG racks and organizers. Both together cost only $53.99, which is an amazing deal for how functional they are. I have seen other parents customize theirs with contact paper or paint, but even plain, it is perfect. I added felt storage containers underneath for diapers and wipes, and it has been so practical and easy to keep tidy.
Another must-have in our house is the ANTILOP high chair. With twins, I needed something simple, sturdy, and affordable, and these high chairs have been wonderful. They are under $40 each, and you can personalize them with different colored cushions and silicone tray inserts that are sold separately.
The One That Got Away
Before the babies were born, we made a small mistake. We grabbed a few of the kitty lovies that I could not live without, but somehow only got one giraffe rattle. Of course, it ended up being both babies’ favorite toy. Their eyes get so big when I shake it, and they love holding it and bumping it around. It is honestly the sweetest thing. Unfortunately, IKEA does not carry it anymore, and I have regretted not buying two ever since.
More IKEA Plans
We are planning to pick up a dresser soon, and we already own and love several of IKEA’s storage and organization items. Everything feels so baby and parent friendly.
The boys had their first trip to IKEA last night, and it was such a sweet moment. We even found matching feeding bibs for their high chair cushions, but I could not resist how cute they were. They loved the colors, the big yellow and blue building, and even the sounds and music inside. The whole ambiance seemed to fascinate them. It definitely will not be their last visit.
