Some days aren’t made for doing more.
They’re made for surviving what’s already in front of you.
There are days when the house is louder than usual.
When the to do list feels endless.
When even the smallest tasks feel heavy.
On days like that, I remind myself that simply getting through counts.
Feeding the babies counts.
Showing up counts.
Holding space for their needs, even when I feel empty, counts.
We don’t talk enough about these in between days.
The ones without milestones or wins.
The days that don’t photograph well.
The days that won’t make it into a highlight reel.
But these days matter too.
They are part of the rhythm of motherhood.
The quiet effort.
The invisible work.
The moments where you keep going even when no one sees it.
If today feels heavy, this is your permission to lower the bar.
Rest if you can.
Breathe when things feel overwhelming.
Let today be enough as it is.
You are still doing a good job.
Even on the days that feel unfinished.
